Client Concern
Combining refined chevron geometry with a relaxed natural atmosphere
The client wanted the elegance of a chevron layout while maintaining a soft, organic Japandi aesthetic. They were also concerned about long-term color stability and structural performance under strong daily sunlight from large windows.
Our Solution
To achieve a clean and calming visual effect, we selected premium AB grade oak with minimal knots and uniform color variation.
A subtle wire-brushed texture was applied to enhance the natural grain and create a warm, tactile surface that complements the botanical and organic interior design.
To protect the warm natural oak tone (AM-42) from sunlight exposure, we used a high-performance UV lacquer finish with enhanced anti-discoloration properties.
The floor’s 3-layer engineered structure ensures long-term dimensional stability, while the precision T&G system enabled flawless chevron alignment, including seamless detailing around the curved staircase area.
