260mm Super-Wide Oak CD Grade White Oil Click Engineered Flooring—SA-04
260mm Super-Wide Oak CD Grade White Oil Click Engineered Flooring—SA-04

with a brushed surface and white oil finish. The 15/4mm 3-layer construction features a 4mm solid European oak wear layer and click floating installation. Held in AMUER's Serbia warehouse, SA-04 offers fast delivery to European, UK, and Middle East buyers.

At 260mm wide and 2,200mm long, SA-04 is the widest and longest standard plank in the entire AMUER engineered flooring range — significantly exceeding the 220mm maximum of the China-factory product line (AH-07). Each board is more than 10 inches wide, approaching the scale of genuine reclaimed timber planks from old-growth trees. At this width, the room reads primarily as individual boards, where grain, colour, and natural character become the primary visual subject.

The CD grade at 260mm displays European oak character at the most generous scale: knots, swirling grain, and colour variation from pale sandy-cream to warm amber-honey all read as large, room-scale features. The white oil finish lifts and brightens the colour toward a warm pale honey-cream — combining maximum natural drama with a luminous, Nordic-inflected pale tone.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW · SA-04

Grand Scale, White Oil, CD Character

SA-04 represents a specification threshold: at 260mm wide, these are not simply "wide planks" — they are genuinely grand-scale boards that change the fundamental character of a floor installation.

Below approximately 200mm, a plank floor reads as a surface of parallel linear elements. Above 220mm, and especially at 260mm, individual boards become the primary visual subject rather than elements of a pattern. Each SA-04 board contains an entire landscape of grain movement, colour variation, and natural character; swirling grain arcs, knot formations, and colour transitions read as room-scale material events.

This is the character of historic reclaimed wide-plank floors, achieved here in a modern engineered format: 4mm wear layer for refinishing, click floating for simpler installation, and Serbia stock for faster, lower-cost European delivery.

The combination of 260mm width, CD grade character, and white oil finish creates a distinctive aesthetic: grand in scale, rich in character, yet pale and luminous — ideal for light-filled, Nordic-influenced interiors.
Design Guide
SA-04’s 260mm super-wide plank, warm pale honey-cream colour, and CD natural character suit grand natural wide-plank specifications for European design-led residential and hospitality projects.
Grand Nordic & Japandi
SA-04’s pale white-oil honey-cream is the defining Nordic and Japandi floor: maximally light, materially generous, and individually characterful through CD grade knots and grain. Pairs with pale plaster walls, natural linen, and pale furniture.
Wall suggestions: warm white, pale clay, linen white, soft plaster.
Luxury Open-Plan Contemporary
SA-04’s pale white-oil honey-cream is the defining Nordic and Japandi floor: maximally light, materially generous, and individually characterful through CD grade knots and grain. Pairs with pale plaster walls, natural linen, and pale furniture.
Wall suggestions: warm white, pale clay, linen white, soft plaster.
Luxury Open-Plan Contemporary
For contemporary spaces with generous ceiling heights and stone/marble surfaces, SA-04 provides a pale, materially generous floor that anchors the space without competing.
Wall suggestions: warm white, pale limestone, soft warm grey.
Installation & Room Suitability
Click Installation (Floating)
SA-04’s 260mm width demands the most careful installation preparation in the AMUER range. Every variable is amplified at this width:

Subfloor flatness: max. 2mm per 2m — tighter than standard
Expansion gap: minimum 15mm at all walls and fixed objects — the largest in the range
Acclimatisation: 72 hours minimum at room conditions
Stagger end joints: minimum 600mm between adjacent rows
Grain direction: install along the longest room dimension
Pre-sort boards: lay out boards in planned sequence; CD grade variation makes this essential for best aesthetic result
Humidity: maintain 45–60% RH year-round throughout installation and life of floor
Underfloor Heating
SA-04 is compatible with UFH but is the most humidity-sensitive product in the range. Consistent indoor humidity is non-negotiable.

Max. surface temperature: 27°C
Switch off heating 72h before installation; restart increasing 1°C/day
Maintain 45–60% RH year-round without exception
White oil is more moisture-sensitive than UV lacquer — gapping below 45%, swelling above 60%
Thermal resistance: max. 0.15 m²K/W
Whole-home humidity monitoring system strongly recommended

Current prestige specification; Serbia stock advantageous for tight schedules.
Master Bedrooms & Dressing Suites
Excellent
Creates a luxurious, light, warm environment; matte white oil feels soft underfoot.
Smaller Rooms (under 20 m²)
Not Recommended
260mm width can overwhelm compact spaces; board count becomes too low.
Bathrooms
Not Recommended
Not suitable for wet environments.
Care & Maintenance — 260mm Super-Wide White Oil Oak
Task
Method
Daily
Dry sweep or vacuum with soft brush head along board length. Pale colour shows grit clearly; daily sweeping is the most important maintenance step.
Weekly
Damp mop with well-wrung cloth and compatible white oil floor cleaner. No steam mop, no standing water.
Spills
Wipe immediately with dry cloth. At 260mm wide, spills cover significant area — wipe outward from centre.
Humidity management
Maintain 45–60% RH year-round without exception. This is the most critical parameter; use quality indoor humidity monitor and control systems.
Periodic re-oiling
Re-oil with compatible white oil maintenance product every 12–18 months. Use white oil only — not clear natural oil or UV lacquer products. Allow 24h cure.
Scratches
Light scratches: spot re-oiling after light sanding. Deep scratches: professional sanding and white-oil refinishing (4mm wear layer provides substantial capacity).
Never
Steam mop · standing water · clear natural oil over white oil · UV lacquer products · bleach or acid cleaners · silicone polishes · abrasive pads · large rugs without breathable anti-slip mat.

FAQ
Q1. What is SA-04 and why is 260mm significant?
SA-04 is a 260×2,200mm super-wide plank engineered oak floor in CD grade with brushed surface and white oil finish, 15/4mm 3-layer construction, 4mm wear layer, click floating installation, stocked in Serbia. 260mm is the widest standard plank in the AMUER range — wider than 10 inches, approaching historic old-growth timber widths. At this scale, individual boards become the primary visual subject of the floor.
Q2.  Why use white oil on 260mm CD grade planks?
At 260mm, CD grade’s natural heartwood-to-sapwood colour variation spans a significant tonal range. White oil partially unifies and lifts this range toward a luminous warm pale honey-cream, reducing extreme contrast while preserving natural variation. Knots and grain read as vivid focal points against a pale, coherent background. Re-oiling with compatible white oil is required every 12–18 months.
Q3.  What is the most important maintenance requirement for SA-04?
Humidity management — maintaining 45–60% RH year-round without exception. At 260mm, dimensional movement from humidity variation is more significant than for any narrower plank. Below 45% causes visible gapping; above 60% causes swelling and joint stress. A quality humidity monitoring and control system is strongly recommended, especially with underfloor heating.
Q4.   How does Serbia stock benefit my SA-04 order?
SA-04 is physically held at AMUER's Serbia warehouse and dispatches within 3–7 business days, versus 15–25 days factory production from China. It also significantly reduces freight costs for European buyers — especially important for the heavy, 15/4mm thick super-wide planks. Contact arboren@arboren.com for current stock levels and a freight quotation.
Q5.   Is 260mm wide plank suitable for UFH?
Yes, with careful management. SA-04 is the most humidity-sensitive product in the AMUER range; 45–60% RH is mandatory with UFH. Maximum surface temperature 27°C; switch off heating 72h before installation, restart at 1°C/day. A dedicated humidity control system is recommended.
Q6.  Can SA-04 be refinished?
Yes — the 4mm wear layer supports 2–3 professional sanding and refinishing cycles. However, to maintain the pale brightened colour, white oil must be reapplied (not clear natural oil or UV lacquer). Using clear oil will produce a warmer, less pale floor. Contact AMUER for refinishing guidance.
Q7.  What is the minimum order from Serbia stock?
Contact AMUER at arboren@arboren.com referencing SA-04 for current stock levels and MOQs. Stock orders may allow smaller quantities than the standard 200 m² China factory MOQ. Samples are available from Serbia for prompt dispatch.
