Finish Options — What You Can Apply On-Site
Because SA-05 arrives completely unfinished, the installer or buyer can apply any compatible flooring finish after installation and sanding:

Installation & On-Site Finishing Guide
Step 1 — Pre-Installation
· Contact AMUER for Serbia stock levels and shipping quote
· Confirm required m² including 10–15% wastage for cuts
· Acclimatise boards 72 hours minimum at room temperature and humidity before installation
· Subfloor flatness: 2mm per 2m maximum
· Pre-sort boards: lay out in planned sequence to distribute DEF grade character (pale sapwood, dark heartwood, knot-dense boards) across the floor
Step 2 — T&G Glue-Down Installation
· Flexible polyurethane or MS polymer adhesive; full-spread trowel across board back
· Expansion gap: minimum 15mm at all walls
· Stagger end joints: minimum 600mm between adjacent rows
· Allow adhesive cure: minimum 48 hours
· Do NOT activate UFH until floor is fully finished and cured
Step 3 — On-Site Sanding
After adhesive cure (minimum 48 hours), sand the installed floor to the desired surface preparation:
· Start: 40–60 grit belt/drum sander to level any minor board-to-board height variation and open knots
· Mid: 80–100 grit to refine the surface
· Final: 120–150 grit for finishing preparation
· Edge sanding with edge sander at same grit sequence
· Vacuum and tack cloth before applying finish
Step 4 — Apply Chosen Finish
Apply oil, lacquer, stain, or combination according to finish manufacturer's instructions. Standard finish application sequence: apply first coat, allow to absorb/dry, light sand between coats (fine grit), apply second coat, cure. For oil finishes: buff between coats. For lacquer: follow manufacturer's inter-coat timing precisely.
SA-05 is now a finished floor ready for normal use.
