The 190mm wide plank is the visual foundation of AW-07: boards are wide enough to show the full sweep of walnut grain movement, the contrast between dark espresso heartwood and pale honey-tan sapwood, and the knots and figure of the CD grade at a scale that 90mm boards cannot achieve. Each 190mm board is a distinct visual element — an individual panel of character-grade American walnut rather than a narrow strip. The floor reads as bold, materially generous, and naturally dramatic.

The CD grade amplifies this character: where AB grade (AW-02) selects toward consistent heartwood, and ABC grade (AW-01) shows the full colour range without open defects, CD grade accepts knots (filled and small open), pronounced grain movement, figure, and the full heartwood-to-sapwood colour spectrum.
