Raw White Oak 190mm Long Plank Engineered Flooring Invisible Oil DE Grade — SA-06
Raw White Oak 190mm Long Plank Engineered Flooring Invisible Oil DE Grade — SA-06
SA-06 is a 190mm long plank DE high natural character grade engineered oak floor, brushed and finished with invisible oil: 14/3mm three-layer construction with a 3mm solid European oak wear layer, click floating installation. SA-06 is stocked in AMUER's Serbia warehouse for immediate dispatch to EU markets.

SA-06 is the most distinctive product in the Serbia warehouse range. Its defining specification is the combination of two elements that are rarely paired in the market: DE high natural character grade — with prominent knots, swirling grain, and significant colour variation — finished with invisible oil — a penetrating transparent oil engineered to protect the wood while altering its natural colour as little as possible. The result is a floor that presents DE grade European oak in its most raw, authentic, and tonally pale form: the pale linen-white to very pale warm cream of unfinished or freshly dried oak, with the DE grade's dramatic knots and swirling grain reading through the transparent invisible oil as natural features in an almost-unfinished surface.

This is a fundamentally different aesthetic from any other combination in the AMUER range. It is not the warm honey-gold of SA-01 or SA-03 (natural oil, which deeply warms and enriches the oak colour). It is not the clean cream-white of NC-03 (S grade, consistent and characterless). It is not the white-stained grey-white of AM-41 (pigment over the natural colour). SA-06 is raw: the actual pale colour of DE grade European oak before any finish warms, enriches, or modifies it, with the DE grade's full natural drama — knots, grain, variation — reading through the invisible oil in sharp, honest, unmediated clarity. The brushed surface adds a subtle grain texture that is fully visible through the transparent invisible oil, adding tactile and visual depth to the pale raw surface. SA-06 is available immediately from Serbia stock — a genuinely distinctive, hard-to-source specification delivered fast to the EU market.

Colour
SA-06 Raw White Oak — pale linen-white to very pale warm cream; the most tonally raw and pale colour combination in the Serbia warehouse range; the invisible oil preserves the natural colour of the DE grade oak with maximum transparency, so the floor reads at the palest possible natural tone for DE grade: pale cream-white heartwood, slightly warmer pale amber in moderate-tannin areas, and darker natural tones only at knot halos and the highest-tannin grain intersections; the DE grade's colour variation reads in the pale range — from nearly-white to pale warm cream — rather than the extreme cream-to-deep-russet range of an EF grade floor; in daylight the floor reads as genuinely raw and pale; in warm artificial light the invisible oil's transparency allows any warmth to come from the light rather than from the finish
Surface Treatment
Brushed — wire-brush treatment opens the natural grain structure; removes softer early-wood fibres; adds a visible, tactile grain texture; on DE grade, the brushed surface accentuates the complex grain around knot halos and the dramatic swirling grain movement with a raised-grain texture; through the transparent invisible oil, the brushed grain texture is fully visible as a fine relief across each board face; the brushed texture prevents the pale invisible-oil surface from reading as flat or featureless, ensuring the floor reads as natural textured wood rather than an unfinished board
Finish
Invisible Oil — a penetrating transparent oil engineered for maximum color transparency; penetrates the brushed oak fibres with minimal color modification, providing surface protection while preserving the raw, pale natural colour of the DE grade oak as closely as possible; key distinction from Natural Oil (SA-01, SA-03): natural oil significantly deepens and warms the oak color to a honey-gold; invisible oil alters the color minimally, leaving the pale, raw tone of the unfinished oak; key distinction from hard clear coatings (UV lacquer): invisible oil is penetrating and open-pore, adding warmth of touch without forming a surface film; requires periodic maintenance re-oiling with compatible invisible or ultra-clear oil maintenance product
Grading
DE — High Natural Character Grade: prominent open and solid knots; bold grain movement including swirling and cathedral arches; significant colour variation from pale cream heartwood to moderate amber-brown; all features structurally stable and factory-filled where required; the DE grade provides natural character and drama without reaching the extreme of EF grade's open cracks and bark inclusions; on the invisible oil pale surface, DE grade knots read as dark natural punctuation marks in the pale linen-white ground — the contrast between the dark knots and the pale invisible-oil surface is among the most visually dramatic feature-to-ground contrasts in the AMUER range
Edge Profile
Micro-Bevel — precision machined chamfer on all four board edges; creates a uniform V-groove shadow line between boards; on SA-06's pale surface, the micro-bevel shadow line adds board definition that is slightly more visible than on a dark floor — the shadow reads as a fine, clean joint line between pale boards
Installation
Click floating (Uniclic-compatible) — no adhesive required
Underfloor Heating
Compatible — maximum surface temperature 27°C; maintain 45–60% RH year-round; natural oil finish requires careful humidity management over UFH

PRODUCT OVERVIEW ·SA-06 RAW WHITE OAK INVISIBLE OIL DE GRADE

Invisible Oil + DE Grade — The Most Tonally Raw Floor in the AMUER Range

SA-06's defining character is produced by a combination that is unique in the AMUER range and unusual in the wider engineered flooring market: DE high natural character grade — with its prominent knots, bold grain movement, and natural colour variation — finished with invisible oil that preserves the wood's colour with maximum transparency. The result is a floor at the extreme pale end of the natural colour spectrum, with the full natural drama of DE grade visible through a surface that reads as barely finished.

The invisible oil is the critical ingredient. On the same DE grade timber, natural oil (as used on SA-01) would produce a warm honey-gold floor with deep, enriched colour and a distinctly warm, nourished quality. Invisible oil on the same timber produces a floor where the colour remains in the pale linen-white to very pale warm cream range — the actual colour of the wood before any oil deepens or enriches it. The DE grade's knots read as dark, almost black natural features against the pale ground; the swirling grain reads as fine pale-brown lines against the cream-white field; the brushed texture reads as a raised grey-line pattern across the pale surface. Every feature is more tonally stark and visually dramatic against the pale invisible-oil ground than it would be against the warm honey-gold of a natural oil finish.

This tonal rawness is SA-06's design character. It references the aesthetic of raw, unlimed, naturally pale oak as used in Japanese and Scandinavian historic timber architecture — where the natural colour of the wood is the finish, protected but not altered. In a contemporary residential interior, SA-06 creates a floor that reads as genuinely raw and honest in a way that no white-stained, limed, or warm-oiled floor can replicate: the pale colour is not applied, it is the wood itself; the dark knots are not rustic features in a warm rustic floor, they are precise dark incidents in a pale, almost-minimalist ground.

The 190mm board width is the correct format for SA-06. Wider than standard long plank (150mm) without reaching the wide plank format (220mm+), 190mm presents the DE grade features at a scale where individual knots and grain patterns read clearly across each board without becoming compositionally overwhelming. Each board face is wide enough to show the DE grade's full character across the 190mm width and 1,900mm length, creating a floor that has genuine natural drama at both the board scale and the room scale.
Design Guide
SA-06's pale raw-white invisible oil, DE grade natural character, 190mm long plank, and Serbia availability place it in the most architecturally considered and material-honest interior contexts. It is a floor for spaces where the raw quality of natural oak is the design statement.
Natural Japandi & Wabi-Sabi
SA-06 is the floor for Japandi and wabi-sabi interiors where material honesty is the highest aesthetic principle. The invisible oil presents DE grade oak in its most authentic form; the pale tone honours the natural colour of the wood; the DE knots are natural imperfections celebrated rather than excluded. Against warm white walls, natural linen, raw ceramics, and dark timber accents, SA-06 creates an interior of genuine material depth.
Raw Minimalism & Design-Led
SA-04’s pale white-oil honey-cream is the defining Nordic and Japandi floor: maximally light, materially generous, and individually characterful through CD grade knots and grain. Pairs with pale plaster walls, natural linen, and pale furniture.
Wall suggestions: warm white, pale clay, linen white, soft plaster.
Bold Contrast & Dramatic Dark-Light
SA-06's pale raw-white creates a maximally dramatic light-to-dark contrast against deep, saturated wall colours. The DE grade knots' dark tones are echoed in the dark walls, creating a visual connection between floor feature and wall colour. Against charcoal, deep olive, or forest green, the pale invisible-oil oak creates an exceptional interior of light floor and dark walls.
Installation & Room Suitability
Click Installation (Floating)
SA-06 uses Uniclic-compatible click floating installation. No adhesive required. Boards float over the subfloor on an approved acoustic underlay.

· No adhesive — click lock floating installation
· Subfloor flatness: 3mm per 2m maximum
· Approved underlay: acoustic/thermal, 3mm maximum
· Expansion gap: minimum 12mm at all walls
· Acclimatisation: 48 hours at room temperature — essential for invisible oil boards
· Install along the longest room dimension
· Stagger end joints: minimum 300mm between adjacent rows
· Micro-bevel joints: do not fill or caulk
· Pale floor note: subfloor prep cleanliness important — marks show through pale invisible oil boards
· DE grade factory-filled features fully stable under invisible oil
Underfloor Heating
SA-06 is compatible with both hydronic and electric UFH. Invisible oil over UFH requires consistent humidity management.

· Maximum surface temperature: 27°C
· Switch off UFH 48 hours before installation
· After installation: increase +1–2°C per day to target
· Maintain indoor humidity: 45–60% RH year-round
· Invisible oil over UFH: low humidity can cause surface checking — humidify in dry winters
· Thermal resistance: 0.15 m²K/W maximum

Notes
Minimalist & Japandi Interiors
Exceptional
SA-06 is the perfect floor for Japandi and natural minimalist interiors where material honesty is paramount. The invisible oil preserves the raw authenticity of DE grade oak; the pale colour recedes to allow the interior to advance; the DE grade knots and grain add natural drama without warmth or colour complexity. The floor is present as material but not as colour.
Architect-Specified Residential
Exceptional
SA-06's unusual combination of maximum transparency (invisible oil) and high natural character (DE grade) is a sophisticated architectural material choice that reads as design-led and considered. For architect-specified projects where the brief is a pale, natural, characterful oak floor without the warmth of natural oil, SA-06 is the correct specification.
Light-Filled Contemporary Living Rooms
Exceptional
In south-facing or well-lit contemporary living rooms, SA-06's pale invisible-oil surface maximises natural light reflection. The DE grade knots create dark focal points in the pale ground that are especially dramatic in bright light. The floor reads as a light, textured, natural material field.
Warm-White Scandi Interiors
Excellent
SA-06's pale raw-white tone is at home in warm-white Scandinavian interiors. The invisible oil's transparency means the floor reads as genuinely natural rather than applied white — the warmth in the pale tone comes from the wood, not the finish. DE grade knots add the organic natural character that Scandinavian interiors value.
Bedrooms
Excellent
Raw-white invisible oil oak creates a serene, pale, atmospheric bedroom. The DE knots add natural character to the pale surface without creating visual busyness. Periodic invisible oil maintenance re-coating is manageable in a bedroom context.
Entrance Halls
Very Good
SA-06 in an entrance hall makes an immediate statement of raw material quality. Pale floor shows tracked grit readily — entrance mat and regular sweeping essential. Serbia stock allows fast delivery for entrance hall projects.
Home Offices
Not Recommended
Pale raw-white oak creates a calm, focused working environment. The DE knots add natural interest without distraction. Desk chair mat on invisible oil surface.
Kitchen (dry zone)
Good with care
Invisible oil less water-resistant than UV lacquer. Pale colour very unforgiving of kitchen spills. Strict and immediate spill protocol essential. Dry zone only — not near sink or cooking areas.
Bathrooms
Not Recommended
Not suitable for wet environments.
Care & Maintenance — Invisible Oil on Brushed DE Grade White Oak
Task
Method
Daily — IMPORTANT
Dry sweep or vacuum with a soft brush head daily. Pale invisible-oil floors show grit, dust, and debris more readily than dark or mid-tone floors. The brushed grain channels on DE grade boards also collect fine particles around knot halos and complex grain areas. Regular sweeping prevents abrasive damage to the invisible oil surface.
Weekly
Damp mop with a well-wrung cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner specifically compatible with invisible oil finish. Do not use standard household cleaners, ammonia-based cleaners, steam mops, or natural oil cleaners (which may add unwanted colour depth). Consult AMUER for recommended compatible invisible oil maintenance cleaner.
Spills — IMMEDIATE
Wipe immediately with a dry cloth. Invisible oil provides moderate surface protection but is less durable than UV lacquer. On a pale raw-white floor, coloured liquids (red wine, coffee, juice) are highly visible and must be addressed instantly. Do not allow any liquid to stand on the invisible oil surface or pool around DE grade factory-filled knots.
DE grade features
Factory-filled knots and grain features are fully stable under invisible oil. Apply maintenance cleaner across the full board face including filled features. Do not sand or abrade filled features between full refinishing cycles. If a filled feature discolours, contact AMUER for spot treatment guidance.
Micro-bevel joints
Do not fill or caulk micro-bevel joints. On a pale floor, joint debris (dust, crumbs, dried liquid) is more visible than on dark floors — clean joints regularly with a soft vacuum brush attachment.
Periodic re-coating
Re-coat with a compatible invisible or ultra-clear transparent oil maintenance product every 1–3 years depending on traffic. Use only products formulated for invisible or clear oil finishes — do not use natural oil maintenance products (which will add unwanted honey-gold warmth and fundamentally change the pale raw-white aesthetic of SA-06). Contact AMUER for recommended re-coating product specification.
Pale floor care
SA-06's pale raw-white tone requires the same heightened everyday care as any pale floor: daily sweeping without exception; immediate spill response; compatible cleaning products; and periodic invisible oil re-coating. The pale colour shows everything more readily than a dark floor. Clients choosing SA-06 must understand and commit to this care level.
Never
Steam mop · standing water · natural oil on invisible oil surface (will permanently warm the pale colour) · UV lacquer over invisible oil · standard household cleaners with ammonia or bleach · abrasive pads · coloured cleaning products · filling micro-bevel joints.

FAQ
Q1. What is invisible oil on oak flooring?
Invisible oil is a penetrating transparent oil formulated for maximum colour neutrality — it protects the oak fibres from within the surface while altering the natural colour of the wood as little as possible. Unlike natural oil (which significantly deepens and warms the oak colour to honey-gold) and unlike UV lacquer (which forms a hard surface film), invisible oil penetrates the oak and provides protection without adding warmth, depth, or colour modification. On AMUER SA-06, the invisible oil preserves the pale raw-white to linen colour of DE grade European oak in its most authentic, unmodified form, while providing surface protection against everyday dust and liquid spills.
Q2.  How is SA-06 different from SA-01 (both natural character, both Serbia stock)?
SA-06 and SA-01 are both high-character European oak from Serbia stock, but they are fundamentally different in colour, finish, and format. SA-01 is EF maximum character grade (the highest — prominent knots, cracks, bark inclusions) in a 150mm long plank with natural oil (which deeply warms and enriches the colour to honey-gold). SA-06 is DE high character grade in a 190mm long plank with invisible oil (which preserves the pale raw-white natural colour). The result: SA-01 is warm, golden, and dramatically rustic; SA-06 is pale, raw, and architecturally honest. They are designed for entirely different interior aesthetics.
Q3.  Why not use natural oil on SA-06 to get a warmer look?
Natural oil on SA-06's DE grade timber would produce a warm honey-gold to amber floor — similar in character to SA-01 but at 190mm and DE grade. This would be a beautiful floor, but it would not be SA-06. SA-06's defining character is the combination of DE grade character drama with invisible oil's raw-white colour transparency. If a warm honey-gold natural oil DE grade floor is required, specify SA-01 (150mm, EF grade, natural oil) or AM-01 (190mm, ABCD grade, natural oil) instead. SA-06 exists specifically for the raw-white invisible-oil aesthetic.
Q4.   Will the invisible oil maintenance re-coating change the pale colour?
Correctly specified invisible oil maintenance re-coating — using a compatible invisible or ultra-clear transparent oil product — should preserve the pale raw-white character of SA-06. The critical requirement is that only invisible or ultra-clear maintenance oil products are used. If a natural oil, warm-neutral oil, or tinted maintenance product is applied, it will gradually shift the pale raw-white colour toward honey-gold over successive re-coating cycles. Contact AMUER for the recommended compatible maintenance product specification.
Q5.   Are the DE grade knots structurally stable under invisible oil?
Yes — all open features in SA-06 are factory-filled and fully structurally stable before the invisible oil is applied. The invisible oil penetrates the board surface including around all factory fills. Factory-filled knots and grain features on SA-06 are as structurally stable as the surrounding board material under normal residential use, cleaning, and maintenance re-coating.
Q6.  Can SA-06 be used over underfloor heating?
Yes — SA-06 is compatible with both hydronic and electric UFH, maximum surface temperature 27°C. Invisible oil over UFH requires consistent humidity management — low humidity in combination with UFH can cause surface checking on invisible oil floors. Maintain 45–60% RH year-round. Consider a whole-house humidifier for dry winter climates with active UFH.
Q7.  How do I check current SA-06 Serbia stock availability?
SA-06 Serbia warehouse stock levels change as orders are fulfilled. Contact AMUER for up-to-date availability, quantities, pricing, and dispatch schedule: arboren@arboren.com. Free samples can be dispatched quickly from Serbia stock to EU addresses.
