AH-09 is a 220mm wide plank engineered oak floor in DE grade with a saw mark surface texture and chemical treatment, finished in wax oil — a 15/4mm three-layer construction with a 4mm solid oak wear layer. The saw mark process leaves the irregular, linear tooling marks of the mill blade visible across the board face, giving each plank an authentic, reclaimed-timber character. Chemical treatment deepens the natural tone and opens the grain, while wax oil preserves the full texture and warmth of the surface.

AH-09 is a 220mm wide plank engineered oak floor in DE select grade with a saw mark surface and chemical treatment, finished in wax oil. The saw mark texture retains the irregular linear marks left by the mill blade during primary timber conversion — rather than sanding the surface smooth, AH-09 preserves this mill-direct texture, producing a floor with an authentic, reclaimed-timber character. Chemical treatment is applied after the saw mark texture is set: the process opens the grain pores and deepens the natural sandy-tan colour, making the mineral streaks running through the timber more vivid.

Underfloor Heating
AH-09 is compatible with both hydronic and electric UFH. Wax oil handles UFH thermal cycling well — it does not crack under heat stress as lacquer can. The embossed open-grain surface absorbs oil particularly well after UFH re-oiling.
